Works with just about everything!

The Icetips Previewer is compatible with Clarion 4, Clarion 5, Clarion 5.5, Clarion 6.0 to 6.3, ABC and Clarion template chains. It fully supports the Clarion 6 target options to export the reports to PDF, HTML, XML or TXT. It can also be used with CPCS reports and can coexist with both CPCS and RPM previewers. The Icetips Previewer is now comptible with the target outputs in both CPCS and Fomin Report Builder. The Previewer is compatible with PDF-Tools to produce PDF files directly from the previewer. It is also compatible with Fomin Report Builder as well as the Target output in Fomin. In Version 2.2 we have added support for ReportDAT from Clarion Central.

We have all had to deal with the Report Preview issues in Clarion. That is exactly why we designed our Icetips Previewer to be not only an excellent previewer, but also 100% customizable by you! The previewer is simply created as a procedure in your appliction. No external source files, no external black boxes. The previewer procedure is a window procedure with all the elements of the previewer ready for you to change.

Fully customizable

You can change everything! You can even have more than one previewer in your application with different looks or functionality - remember you are in charge here and you decide what it is going to do and how it is going to look!

The Previewer comes with a nice set of standard functionality, that you can of course add to if you want to. This includes searching, tagging pages to print both by tagging them in the page list, and also by using standard ranges such as "All" "Odd" 1-5,6,7,9-10 etc. Number of copies can be specified, and you can zoom in and out in specified steps. The product comes with a 85 page PDF manual, which you can download. You can also download a demo application.

Comes with all the code!

The Previewer comes with all the code that makes it a report previewer. All code is either created as embedded code in your application or provided as class files, for example the Mouse Wheel support. No black boxes, no hidden code, no compiled Clarion classes or DLLs. We do include one compiled DLL that is used by the template. This is a DLL compiled in Borland C and the source is not provided for it. However if you want to get the source for that DLL, please send us an email requesting it and we will be happy to send it to you. It does include functions that are not used in the previewer template as this is a general DLL that is used in many of our products. This makes us completely independent of new versions of Clarion since we do not need to hurry up and compile anything for the Previewer when Softvelocity releases a new build.
